The quest system on the new CoA realm is completely broken right now. Every time you turn in a completed quest, the game is literally subtracting the gold reward from your character instead of giving it to you.
What's exactly the point of the "support" archetype? Is that like a half-healer half-dps type thing? I noticed some of the builds labelled just say that you heal allies. It's not enough healing to heal a dungeon though, is it?

Every time you repair your gear at a merchant on CoA, it sets your weapon skill values completely back to zero.You pay the repair cost, and the next time you attack a mob, you miss every single swing because your character acts like they've never picked up a sword before. You have to literally stand there and re-grind your weapon skill levels from scratch against low-level boars just to be able to hit anything in your level bracket again. It's completely unplayable.

The flight paths on CoA are completely broken right now. If you take a taxi to any zone border, the flight mount just stops mid-air, kicks your character off into the sky, and drops you to your death. When you release your spirit, the graveyard spawner doesn't even work, so your ghost is just stuck falling through the bottom of the map in a permanent loop. You can't even use the unstuck feature because the game thinks you are constantly moving. Do not use any flight masters until they patch this or your character is going to get completely bricked.

On CoA, do not put your secondary pets into the stable masters right now. There is a massive bug where logging out while a pet is stored completely wipes that specific animal companion ID from your character file. When you log back in and check the stable, the slot is just empty and your pet is permanently gone.

Every time you summon a mount on CoA, the game client completely swaps your primary character model with the mount model. Your character turns into a running horse or wolf that can't attack or interact with NPCs, while your active hotbars completely lock up. The only way to reverse the display swap is to enter a deep water zone and force your character to start the swimming animation, otherwise you are stuck running around as a literal mount entity.

Instead of returning your potions, the mail system accidentally duplicates the entire item stack.

I end today at level 23. I'm really enjoying CoA so far. I was thinking of doing more dungeon grinding but I'm honestly liking questing and I feel if I dungeon grind all my levels like I did on BBC then it'll cheapen the experience. Witch doctor was a mistake. Its just a worse afflock combined with a worse resto druid. Healer spec is servicable (spammed dungeons with it), but hunter is a meme at least under 30, and vodoo has very slowly ramping damage.I tried ganking has both specs and the lack of hard cc or distance creating skills made them free kills. Everyone has slows also and most classes have very long stuns and grips. KoX in particular has a chain grab + stun/animation lock combo that is hyper brutal combined with their tankiness.Yes you can heal yourself to full easily as any spec, but that doesn't really matter since any class capable of being aggressive can just come at you.Its possible talents or skills may change things up, but ive got the best gear for the levels from dungeon spamming. The only thing I think the class shines at is probably pvp healing, because it brings its huge aoe slow totem and slow hex along with respectable speed buffs for the team and poison/curse clearing.It does not have a magic dispell, however, not sure if any class does, so you will just get caught by various types of magic cc and eat shit.

I think my biggest problem with this server is that it's super interesting but like... C'mon... The cash shop feels so excessive especially with xp boosts and what have you.Yeah you might have to get to 60 first but it's just lame. Sun cleric stands out to me as the most broken adhd high speed tank of the bunch. It has this sprint that adhd party abandoning healer disrespecting tanks will love since it lets them run ahead and pull everything on their own.Its fine because they can deal with it for the few seconds it takes for everyone to catch up.Primalist just doesnt die. Idk its mechanics it just heals itself to full forever with infinite mana and instant casts. It also has huge damage. It isnt as fast as sun cleric though so pulls are slower.Culist/knight are shield block tanks. Im sure they get better later with more gear and reactivity, but I found them to require babying compared to above. Venomancer should in theory have decent self healing, on bosses it doesnt need healing so you can dps, but on big pulls its gimmick of shedding or whatever seems to cause really extreme damage spikes. Its damage is pretty good.Never a felsworn tank, cant comment on what they do. Very rare.Witch hunter tanking kit is lacking something at low levels. Maybe they are amazing later on, but they simply cannot tank under 30. They lack the ability to manage big pulls or spike damage. Maybe there is nuance to it, but the only semi competent wh tank I saw was pulling everything and kiting it while it was slowed somehow, using their ranged abilities and weaving things together. He still spiked down instantly whenever he had to face a pack.BTW I am a witchdoctor healer, which imo feels pretty balanced overall in terms of spread and direct healing, and has some nice emergency healing cooldowns. Notably it has a 1 minute cooldown aoe stun totem which helps with chain cc on fuckhuge pulls.

Ascension is fine, its a bit sloppy but having a novel wow like experience to learn again is really interesting.By about level 30 or so many roles start to become homogenous, which is to be expected with 21 classes(?). There are a few very broken classes at low level, so if you want to have fun and not stress over what to play, try those out.

I never intended to level more than a quarter of them. But since I don't know which classes I will end up leveling, I got chests on all of them just in case they stop giving them out. Less than two hours for all of the bags/unlocks on 21 characters. Even if most of those characters don't get leveled, that's a shit ton of bank alts with a shit ton of space. Not a waste. What you suggested is exactly what I am already doing. I'm leveling a Starcaller via questing and I was also going to level my Runemaster through PvP, but it felt like a chore to play so I moved onto Reaper for that. The only thing we disagree on here is I'd rather have all those bags and unlocks on all my characters than heirlooms.

Playing the Warden class of Starcaller, it's great, feels like playing every class at once, it has the bow spells, close range is very strong, sustain with the heals and some debuffs against magic and phys attacks.
