I have my own problems with the combat, and I'm fine with what we saw being a type of PQ, but I really hope that's not it. I want them to put the QUEST into parallel quest. I don't want them ALL to involve waves of enemies with one big boss at the end, there's just no replay value in that. I want some with unique win conditions or unique objectives, and more importantly, I want quest actually given by NPCs.

Replaying Budokai Tenkaichi 2 right now. The campaign is interesting but is ultimately just a lesser version of Budokai 3 in my opinion. Having basically every battle from the anime including filler fights is kind of a chore. BT1 story was already super repetitive but this is somehow worse. Never really played this one growing up. It's mechanically a MUCH better game than the first, but just kind of tedious to do anything except duels. I'll see how far I get but I kinda just wanna replay BT3 already and move on to the Budokai games.

It always bugged me that the other universes' gods never get involved with the whole time patrol/time breaker shit. Especially since in both Heroes and XV their universes end up getting roped into it one way or another. As early as Future Saga chapter 2 when the Pride Troopers get possesed and start terrorizing other universes Gin really should have beamed in, Hakai'd Fu and slapped Chronoa on the butt for being inept.
