But as for Destructor Wyrm, I think it's a fun deck and it does seem pretty strong. You never know when the devs will obliterate a deck in the next banlist, though. But the Rush meta is generally varied enough that even if a deck isn't T1, it can reach KoG. Unless you're a tournament player, you're probably fine.
>>573246880There was a tournament yesterday and the finals was a Destructor Wyrm mirror match, so that indicates it's pretty decent. From watching some games from the stream it seems like the deck is an OTK machine and that its defensive equip spell is borderline broken, so it seems like a safe investment. Haven't seen the mirror force trap be activated even once yet, so I don't know if it even comes up, but it should be good if duels extend for long enough.The decklists do seem to be playing the maximum monster a lot, and that one is in different boxes, so maybe watch out for that.It's kind of sad that Asaka has a better skill for the maximum than Asana. Asana's strongest deck doesn't even use the maximum anymore, and it pales in comparison to Asaka's.
There's going to be more tournaments during the week, so there's also the choice to wait a couple of days and see where the meta settles.

But despite what the general consensus seems to be among Speed players of "no new character = no content", the issue is entirely on the bad gameplay and not that. Speed still gets at least a minibox each month and there's always at least one new archetype. It just doesn't matter if the meta is dominated by a deck that plays itself thanks to a skill designed by people who don't know how to play Yugioh for people who don't know how to play Yugioh. It's the same for Rush too. Even if it's not as bad yet, there's definitely some skills that read like they gave up even trying to understand the appeal of Rush Duel. And that problem isn't going to be solved even if there's hundreds of playable characters. The only thing that could make the devs realize that they're doing something wrong would be a huge drop in players. But that could also result in them pulling the plug. Personally, that's fine by me too. If there's even a 1% chance that Duel Links would be replaced by something better, I'd take it. Nothing of value would be lost as far as I'm concerned.

>>573368916Morality is at an all time low thanks to Konami.It started with Dragluxion spam, then Therion and now Stardust setting up boards with minimum 6+ interruptions.Faggot from pic rel had 2 omni negates thanks to Quasar, 1 monster negate thanks to Veiler, 1 monster banish thanks to the centurion trap, 1 destroy a card thanks to the stardust trap, a board clear thanks to UNAFFECTED Satellite Warrior and monster negate thanks to droplet. That's 7 (SEVEN) interruptions from which 4 of them are really really strong. Oh and they get to bring a 20000 ATTACK Stardust Dragon next turn, or they can floodgate you with Zombie World (Zombie World stops them from getting the 20000 atk Stardust if it is on the field) You have to play out of your mind and get really lucky with your staples to have a win against Stardust if they go first. It's fucked up.

There's tons of decks that got abandoned without ever getting their full support from TCG. This is the "curated card pool" that some people consider a selling point of Duel Links.

And the multiple Yunas from that one episode had traits in common with the Sevens Gohas. They're related. But I don't think we need to know the full family tree. It's not like they set it up as some sort of super-interesting mystery. And the two shows are separated by multiple generations, so there's a lot of Gohas in-between and probably most of them didn't do anything remarkable. Piling on too much lore for no reason is how we get Glup Shittos.
