Honestly I think it's kinda annoying that they manage to leave stuff like this in the game assets. This is an interesting scene that strongly suggests the thorn ring is not inherently influencing her mind in ch5 side B, because it turns out she does wish the dream was true, that she'd killed Berdly, that she is able to wield that incredible power. And we're left with this as just some "dubiously canon" shit. What was the point of not putting it in if you wrote it up and added it to the files?

I don't like the idea that Weird route is purely negative. I think it should be a situation where it's kinda bad, but in some ways maybe preferable to the normal route. Maybe the normal route is a typical "happy but melancholic" end whereas weird route breaks the narrative in a way where the characters are happier and you as an audience member get the outcome you'd prefer, but the world itself is suffering in some greater way
