This is kind of a me issue but I hate how modern media across the board shows Sonic as too dependent on his friends and constantly around them. Like this franchise had "Long Time No See" as a catchphrase for a good chunk of time, but now those four fuckers always together. Funnily, Shadow also has the worst gameplay of the three main characters in Sonic 2006. Most of the vehicles are annoying and his combat is so slow and clunky. At least building up the gauge makes the enemy faster to defeat, I think. And Omega is great, he carries Shadow's stages when he's playable. Sonic is a lot more fun and has quicker combat and a good moveset, and Silver is okay. Although with Silver it's annoying how often I get hit by projectiles, I'm not sure there's a reliable way to avoid them.I still want to complete every Shadow stage in the game though. I already did the base game of course, but I also want to do the hard mode versions and the DLC, like I did with Sonic.
