Frankly I AM a lorehead and I also loved ch5 writing wise. I think we did get a substantial amount of lore, it just wasn't explicitly told to us.
I can't believe anyone would look at this shit Flowery does and implies about Ralsei and not think anything about it.
Dark World stats are straight up fake, Flowery chose to give himself hax because he doesn't want to play Ralsei's shitty JRPG prophecy campaign.
But it turns out you can't just hax the game and win because the Knight has admin-level powers. Operating on a higher level of reality than the plantners. Which by the by Ralsei can ALSO do apparently.

The obvious answer is something to do with the figure itself since the figure is the one who had special knowledge about cats and eggs, not Maddie.

I don't think it was Carol, but this is an odd argument. The action figure is there way before Rudy ever collapses.
My point is just that it's not unambiguously Alphys. There's also no evidence that Mew Mew is talking about a Lightner at all, she talks about going "back" to school, but obviously the action figure never attended to school, only Mew Mew the character did. Unless you want to make up some headcanon about Alphys bringing the figure to class, but surely there would have been a joke about that somewhere? Susie could have said the figure seems familiar or something. I think it's more likely that Mew Mew has memories from her fictional counterpart and the person she "knew" is a fictional character, not anyone in Hometown. However, since basically every piece of fictional media we've heard about reflects the prophecy in some way, it's likely that the fictional character has a real counterpart, but it's not necessarily anyone the figure would have had actual contact with.

Yea, this is probably it. He knows people are datamining every bit of the game the moment it comes out and wants to see organic discussion on the mysteries before dropping the larger reveal. I wouldn't even be surprised if once Ch.7 comes out there's newly patched dialogue in the first chapters and stuff to fully tie it all together, because he knows if he's too specific people will figure out way before the finale. And while he definitely wants some people to be on the mark, he doesn't want it so obvious.

He wants to see people make Jessicatrice and Rosatrice theories before making the true culprit obvious. I also wouldn't be surprised if he actually does pull an Umineko and leaves the ending open to some interpretation and multiple theories for a while before releasing an update patch months later or something. Or having an official Deltarune manga spell the ending out to anyone who's still arguing over it, like Umineko did.
