The whole Blight/Aether simply destroying everything thing will obviously be revealed not to be 100% the case in the future. Even Perlica already hinted at that back in Valley-IV when Qin says Aether is what opposes all life and Perlica basically says that's only what we believe so far because of our very limited knowledge of it.
