Alright I finished the whole thing, overall it took 5 hours ish going through all fights / chaos again with the story teamFirst I'll just say the way they handled the technical part of the rewrite was absolutely horrid, a normalfag player would never understand that the whole act 1 was rewritten, they handled it in a really stupid way>not giving you rewards for reading the rewritten story, even credits and combatant exp resources would be enough>not properly stating in-game how you should read the new story, making you go through chapter by chapter clicking "watch again" on content you never readIt'll be fine for new players but they completely butchered for active players and it pisses me offAnyway as for the actual rewrite, it was pretty good. Simple but well executed - Miles ahead of the original. Horror parts were lacking a bit but given the game is PG13 it is what it is. Chapter 1 properly introduced you to the world mechanics and gave initial characterization to some characters. Kanchou is very proactive now, even a bit extreme, but works well enough given his position.Chapter 2 and 3 were mostly more world-building and getting to know the pirates, the wolf platoon and haven residents. The pirate lady and Bailey the manipulative bitch are fun characters. Bailey in particular is so fucking hot, its a shame we'll probably never get her as a combatant.Chapter 4 and 5 handled the Judas stuff in a much better way, he's a proper tragic character now, but I wish they actually went in-depth with his illness, it was just kinda random as a plot device.Kanchou also got proper characterization in chapter 4-5, showing he's basically korean emiya shirou and an average dude that goes through hell to help others, it was pretty ok in my book.As for the Renoa stuff, I have no idea, seems a bit generic to have her as a god or something but we'll see how it goes in the future.
