Inti isn't any worse without assist from Capcom, it's the opposite - it's free from their corporate shackles, deadlines and expectations (ZXC NEVER because crapcoom). The current Inti has much more experience and mastery than back then and it shows in their games. Even the fuckin' iX2 with the pizza cutter more than holds its own compared to Zero, because the level design in this game is just peak Inti. That said, iX1 is still better because it's less schizophrenic (no armor shifts).Not to mention, iX games (and Gunvolt in general) have actual scoring systems. Player ranking from the Zero games is not even close.And last but not least, the story may be crazy, but it's much less naive. X/Zero/ZX games had a story like fucking Naruto, along with le nakama. Gunvolt games have much more refined storytelling, like some late night anime.
