I liked playing Priest in classic because helping people with quests and giving out Fortjobs was a total gamechanger for like 30m. I tried CoA and none of that mattered. Every class was able to solo everything. The buffs for classes overlap with like 5 other classes and every single class has like 4 buffs so the only thing that feels unique are the visual themes for the class/specs. Not how they actually fit into a party.
