Announcements for patch updates usually come at least a week in advance, if not even sooner for bigger anniversary ones. So at this point I honestly don't think we're getting anything new. Certainly not some big anniversary surprise.At the same time though, I think there's some law that requires EoS announcements to have to come at least a few months in advance, so I don't think we're getting that either.I think that in a couple days the game is just going to continue to... exist. NS, Jotun, and Gigalink will still all reset weekly as usual, but there won't be any character banners to roll on, any events to play, or anything else going on. Basically just "maintenance mode" until whenever they decide enough time has passed to finally pull the plug.We'll see soon enough.

I can't keep going like this, bros. These rerun filler events without any substance to them just make me feel sad more than anything remotely resembling fun. They were fine as appetizers when the game was alive with a bright future, but without the main dish they just feel hollow and pointless.Snowbreak isn't coming back. The main reasons we all played the game -- the romance and fanservice -- is gone forever. It's the humane thing to do, and it's much better for your mental health.I never missed a single day of logging in since I started the game on 4/10/2024 (yes I kept track of the date), and if given the chance I'd do it all again.
