I was also generally able to consistently defeat enemy encounters in one-to-three turns as well (with a team comprised mostly of girls who didn’t even have a damage bonus or elemental booster), generally just one or two by buffing and then attacking turn one and it usually only lasts longer if I’m talking to enemies.It’s mostly because it makes the boss battles feel more like proper Boss Fights where their mechanics and attacks aren’t just dangerous but the effects that they have also matter now, and the Boss Fights last long enough to be very fun and memorable battles, typically around the usual duration of an JRPG boss (which I’d put at 5~15 minutes on average). This is likely why I loved the third route so much because trtr really put in a lot of effort to make almost every boss in that stand out and have multiple unique mechanisms that shape the way the fight goes.…But, well, by that point evidently a lot of people started using time stop or crisis cheese to kill most of them and it’s kind of sad. I saw a good number of anons who also fought the calamities normally though which was nice. Maybe I just had the patience to push through them being hard without grinding a ton because I felt like that was supposed to be the point or something. Idk man. I had fun getting to help others beat them and I still feel like those fights are a highlight at least.

What difficult do YOU personally recommend, anons? I'm motivated to restart my playthrough as I lost all my data and I'll rush to Part 2 at the easiest but I do intent to fight bosses properly so as to not break balances and that still feel done right.I amped up the difficulty without care in my first playthrough after I accidentally did a combo of bonuses that oneshotted via arrows the slug bosses early on.

The collab was also the point where the powercreep snowballed beyond control, in particular one addition both clashed with the rest of the game’s presentation of the same described entities in its own universe, and felt particularly grating and generic, and trtr later nerfed them through the floor for part three out of clear regret.Also adding sorceries to all the early game encounters balanced around them using lower damage skills had unintended consequences.There were good parts, like getting to travel to multiple new towns that aren’t on the overworld map (which also helps cement that yes there’s plenty of places you don’t go during the story that exist just like the rest of the game implied), the memorable characters were very good and have great interactions, the jobs unlocked by the collab are incredibly fun to use, and there’s some good fights in there at least.Really just take the SP/SHRIFT/Three Charms part of the collab and make that be the entire thing. considering the time loop, Vinum could have worked as the main antagonist for the main collab, and put more emphasis on the petty sadism and genuine evil beings over generic bimbo hedonist #2178.Lest and Novissa were fine too though, I guess.

She also has innate sexcraft skills for when you run into enemies who are resistant to magic.

The only leader who does care for her subjects is undermined by Ilias at every turn because she views it as a slight, and it takes all but one of the leaders in charge being killed for the survivor to honor Luka by turning the arc into the idealized place it was made out to be.I honestly don’t understand why some people believed AW wouldn’t be a dystopian hellhole, it was kind of obvious it was going that direction.
