man, Drakan is so hard, how was this fight even approved by Jagex ?it's not that the mechanics are hard, it's just that you have to react in an inhuman pace several times in a row for 10 minutes.i've done DT2 and struggled somewhat with the Whisperer but this time i know it's going to get worse because now i'm old and my reaction time is slower, this boss is going to be such a pain to complete...also plebbitors loved the quest for some reason but i think it was quite a boring one, the castle puzzle wasn't fun and lore wise it's just "kill bad boy because he's mean and evil", it's basic as it gets with characters you mostly don't care about (ivan strom and veliaf for example). and there's no funny/silly dialogues, its trying to hard at being something OSRS shouldn't be.i can almost smell the edgyness from the souls fans in the dev team.and the area it's in is just all red and boring, complete opposite of what they've done in RS3 and the recent questline of the vampyre Anya (a Jovkai also coming from Vampyrium, we'll get the same area soon with a raid), at least she's interesting (and cute), it makes me wonder if currently part the OSRS staff isn't working on RS3 instead, as we've got pretty impressive updates (like yesterday's POH and construction complete change, where you can fully customise the house and the garden now and also start a group with 5 players and 5 houses with plots of land at the same time).i'd rate this quest a good 5/10, not good not terrible, although the fight requires a stable internet connection and good reflexes (being young) which makes it bad.i'll kill him eventually but i still think it should have been an awakened version of a repeatable boss fight instead not a regular quest version, i had way more fun during DT2 even when i struggled but i have no fun doing this quest.and RIP to those who didn't get the elite lumbridge diary before this quest released lmao, tough luck.
