We're told that the prophecy keeps getting retold, from the prophecy itself to lord of the hammer to dragon blazers to cat petterz rpg.... so I do think it's likely that the prophecy itself is on a cycle.So once a decade or so the dark fountains start opening, two lightners and a dark prince are chosen/made to save the day. Some details probably change, like I know it's a theory that dess was a human, but I assume that doesn't matter, but I can see stuff like a knight making fountains and the story ending with 1 of the lightners dying always occur every cycle.

It works the same way playing piano without looking at sheet music does. When you haven't done it a bunch of times, you stumble and lose your place. I've been drawing for a long time and I'm pretty fast at this point, which is how I'm able to churn out so much all the time, but there is a detriment to quality when you're only focused on making fast sketches and not letting yourself think about things in depth. For those of you who have played both how would you compare the difficulties of Touhou games and Deltarune? I have easy 1ccs on both Lotus Land Story and Mystic Square, I have a normal 1cc on LLS as well and I feel like Deltarune’s secret bosses are all harder than the individual stage bosses I’ve faced. Touhou games are only harder because you have to beat the whole game at once. Their individual patterns are easier than the hardest ones in Deltarune. Part of this is because Deltarune’s bullet patterns are less standardized and there’s a lot of weird shaped bullets with hard to judge hitboxes and gimmicks like soul modes.
