Mirage not going core seems like a surprise. I guess this means all that ancillary content it dropped disappears, like volatile vaal orbs and the cluster fracture; which is disappointing because they were cool. They could just roll it into the main game i suppose. The uniques were shit though so its good they got murdered. Also shrine belt is toast atm

Is the high profitability of crafting a sign that it is too complex and not fun?I don’t know any other game where crafting is as profitable as in poe2. And I also don’t know any other game where I enjoy crafting so little.I enjoy crafting in most games and usually do all my crafting myself. But in this game there are so many non-straight-forward quirks about it that you need to know. And then even when you bridged that knowledge gap the execution of a craft is tedious with all the chaos spamming and RNG that force you to reset over and over. Also there is a decent currency requirement for beginning to craft. Just take the crafting of an endgame amulet as an example. People call that craft deterministic, but it requires so much back and forth because of all the RNG, that the crafting process is not an enjoyable experience.So likely there is a connection between the profitability and how unenjoyable the experience is. It could be that most people feel the way I do and hate crafting in this game, and this drives margins up.This in turn means that GGG can use crafting margins as an feedback indicator for how unfun their crafting system is.Also, in a game where loot acquisition and currency farming is one of the main driving factors, I don’t think it’s great design if the most profitable activity is not very enjoyable.

I just checked the math since I was curious and Niggamahu's really is insane bait. 20% of your DPS at endgame if perfectly dialed in. If your build is league starter shit it could be 50% of your DPS if you're hitting frequently enough thoughbeit.
