Shinku got a bunch of changes on release in CN but without changing her numbers. CN was complainign that she felt weak and bad to play. Even now that we got the final version people are complaining that she's weak. This is because some part of her kit play against one another , that being the Menacing gaze mechanic. You get a big hit at the start of the fight and then can't get it anymore because it requires you to stop attacking on a DPS character. Even her awakening that gives her stacks off field is just a patch work , because the rotation you do off field ( skia / Hathor q+e , Mc q+e , Nannally q+e ) gives Shinku enough time to get only 2-3 stacks which is a joke. The solution is so braindead simple i can't see how the devs missed it . Another way to gain Menacing Gaze is to avoid attacks which makes stacking faster. Just let dodge / parry give you stacks regardless of the 2 seconds timer and the problem is solved. It could be just 4 stacks or 2 / 1 if it's too powerfull but that way you don't have to stop attacking and you don't get punished by losing a 1/4 or your kit because you do so.

in pgr you have to skip a whole character to get a gacha skin and it takes 90 days to get the equivalent of a single bond skin in nte, for the longest time the pity for an srank was 60 pulls and youll only get exactly 30 per patch (only one s rank released every 2 patches, rate was 0.5% with no soft pity) and the weapon banner had an unlimited 50/50 with pity at 40 pulls and no free pulls anywhere. Pgr was considered the most f2p by a lot of people, nte is a lot more forgiving and gives a lot more free stuff but it needs to build a reputation first
