I genuinely hate how nikke has a cast 3 of girls that they constantly focus on. Other characters don't get to shine unless they get an alt an they get one chance with their associated events. The 3 main girls usually get worse over time (except neon) because they keep forcing new story elements and character attributes on them endless (as in milking them dry).

I think there is a huge problem in modern society that lots of people (mostly millennials and below) seems a lot of money tens of millions or billions to be equal to an infinite of money. The belief that a billion dollar company can take essentially infinite risks and not lose significant amounts of money that can lead to bankruptcy or near irrecoverable damage. They are so rich but they don't include X feature. Just like for most people a bunch of small things add up to a giant costs, and you have to draw the line somewhere. Nikke/SU has publically bragged that the source of Nikke's success is low input costs and high profit, with their low amount of employees to comparable gaccha studios probably due to Ai (according to kim). I think it's company doctrine to do provide the bare minimum for a lot of things, just looking at the out of place recycled backgrounds should give that hint. The fact that they seldom ever give characters new 2d skins poses in story that isn't used in skin sales. Nikke is a game that prides itself on operational efficiency.
