Thinking about it, Noelle's plan to cross the lake is kind of genius.If she's right about Kris actually being possessed and able to make her and others do things, read minds, and a bunch of other bullshit, then it's logically possible that it would be able to break reality and bring both Kris and Noelle across the lake despite drowning. This further proves some insane bullshit is going on, and Noelle tested the limits of it.If she's wrong, she finally manages to kill herself after spending years failing to gather up the courage, while dragging Kris down with her after they "abandoned" her and left her to suffer alone after Dess disappeared.In her mind, it's the perfect win-win. She's either right and breaks reality OR she finally gets to stop suffering.
Ok, so let me see if I have all these crack theories properly combined The game is us as the soul interacting with the world through an interface built by Gaster. The events of the prophecy played out at least once without us, with Kris and Noelle teaming up with Ralsei and meeting a fate they couldn't accept (Noelle either dying or killing or both). Rudy is the knight and he and his wife are trying to bring about the roaring to save/restore Dess, kidnapping any adults that learn about the dark worlds too soon. Gaster and Kris do not trust us and want to ensure we can't become violent or involve Noelle or enter the Shelter, but Kris' hold on his own body can be removed with the twisted sword trance effect. The true alt route will be equipping the trance sword, letting the deep dark out of the shelter, and slaughtering the town. Chapter 6 will also reveal that Ralsei is a plant like Flowery, specifically the complex of roots that wind under the entire town.Did I get everything?

Everyone I was making a joke comment on a youtube video about the Eggs and Friend and something stuck in my mind.
