I think it is fair to say Rean bemoans his situation, which is pretty bad, the most in comparison to others that had it worst, but while I personally never felt that bad for him, I felt bad for Osborne and for Kasia the most.But to say him or any other get no development is wild.I really disliked his presentation in CS1, thought his development in 2 where we see him be rash and angry, see him center himself more and more as we reunite with Class VII members was great but the ending of CS2 left a bad taste in my mouth. I try to appreciate the journey more than the destination but it’s hard with that game. I think his changes from 3 onwards are noticeable in that he is flirtier and can handle the attention and perhaps overblown flattery associated with being the Ashen Chevalier, but I also think he remains pretty static until Reverie.I like Lloyd and feel out of all MCs he is the most confident without being arrogant, but he does come across as a little bland to me and is my least favorite. I do still like him though.I see a lot of similarities between Van and Rean, but I appreciate Van being more animated than Rean. His women troubles are just bad writing, though and conflict with him acknowledging he has a sex drive.Estelle is my favorite, but I do see where the complaints people have about her come from. Right now, the only things missing are 3 pre-rendered videos (one being the credits) and some images that don't have an English translation. Most images in the game have Japanese text with English right underneath, so there's not much left to do.We'll keep improving it as time goes on and add the last few remaining pieces, but overall, it's in a good state for a MTL patch I'd say (I'll let you be the judge of that!)

It's definitely a longer game than Ys 9 at least. The new island in Proud is a good edition and equivalent to Dana's underground dungeons from 8' re-release. There was also some other superfluous stuff like night raids and beast hunts that were ok at best.Although having Luminous and Gratika Dana was great, but Proud doesn't really add new playable "character" which is kinda lame considering that P5 Royal added Kasumi.
