I have my dmg cap at lvl 65 (71 but whatever) but all of my hits on the dummy are still 300% over.
And it's not like I'm doing much damage.
A simple rotation that has a big cooldown can net me about 30 mil.
I even have 3 20% overmasteries with skill cap 2x and normal cap 1x respectively.
Weapon leveled too.
How the fuck can I increase my cap more?
I hate how convoluted the damage/optimizing in this game is.

nah bro ffxiv rotations arent even difficult. its just a flavor of CD 12345 and/or 11111. You learn one, you pretty much learn most classes maybe a few exceptions. The fun part of the rotation is pushing melee uptime in mechanics but they made that straightforward too since a lot of melees now have ranged fillers that you can shift around.
