I know this is a weird thing to ask, but is the Magic stat in Deltarune actually kinda trash? It boosts healing and Rude Buster. Susie's healing is still far too expensive (75% TP best case) and Ralsei's healing gets constantly eclipsed by items. I can only see it as a last ditch effort if you completely run out of items, but even then TP is just so valuable. Some early fights don't benefit from TP much I suppose, but it's a bad look to struggle early game anyway.Boosting Rude Buster is nice, but it benefits from ATK even more. Ever notice how stingy the game is with ATK boosting equipment? So much so that the Spike Band from fucking Chapter 2 is still midly useful if you just really want max ATK on everyone.Maybe next chapter Ralsei gets Fire Magic and suddenly Magic is the best stat, but that's quite optimistic.

With how immersed the chars get in the dark world and with how Susie is in particular I'm surprised there hasn't be an Omori Aubrey knife moment. Like even irl I and other people get influenced by just consuming media whether it's behavior or perception or something like the tetris effect. I had kinda similar "Oh right... I forgot" moments when replaying Undertale where I was trying to graze all the time and getting really confused why I wasn't getting TP or hearing the click sound, or when I kept getting disoriented early on because you only have one party member to control.
