Is a constructed version of the Tenyi loaner good enough for this event? Basically every other deck I have is totally banned except for Sky Striker but I get the feeling that Megalith with Block Dragon is gonna be busted beyond belief. Whats everyone using for the Theme Chronicle?

Remember all those situations you went 1st and opponent dropped the shower of handtraps on you, enough to stop your plays so you just passed on nothing on your field, just for them to normal summon their 1 card starter, go full combo, build their own board and OTK you. Conclusion? We are playing a gambling-based game which costs a lot of UR. The game becomes much more enjoyable when you know it's 99% luck and only 1% is skill which is really just knowing how to pilot the deck and maybe time some interruptions but even then you need to draw those interruptions in the first place to make use of them so even that carries a portion of luck.

Okay, I finally finished the event with the fairy tail loaner. I played a few games every few days when missions refreshed. The deck is fun when it pops off, it has options for both setting up and playing into boards. But holy shit the actual loaner itself is miserable. When I went first I got fuwad and drolled every game. When going second you have 2 super polys and one in archetype extender (maybe you could equip tails of to an opponent's monster but that never came up)I might be looking into this or the witchcrafter support when that comes out, don't know when though.

Should i be spending my gems on building either sky striker or branded? They might not be the BEST best but they're always around and they seem to slot into lots of different decks, branded especially. It feels like it might be a smart investment and it'll near guarantee I always have something usable. The Extra Deck information is loaded in the MD client as public information and is loaded into RAM with the game session. The option to sift through is just disabled on rated duels but is enabled on replay. So you either read the data from RAM or modify your client to allow reading during rated duels. However I recommend reading it from RAM instead because sifting through the opponent's Extra is logged on a hidden logcat of all actions taken during the duel and Konami is going to easily pinpoint you doing something that should be disabled.
