Even if you die you only lose one stack, the other two styles remove all of them and it takes too long to build them back up so it feels pointless to even run those styles if you're not constantly topped off on stacks. How is Eustace? I've played him a little bit but he seems kind of awkward to use, and right now it feels like I'm shooting pellets against anything around my level

The captain is flexible with his skills but the general gameplan stays the same, do combos, only hit the quick power raise ++ and pop all your skills at arts level 4. Usual combo is XXXXY gets you to arts level 3 and sets up for the quickened power raise++ to hit level 4. The XYXXY variant is if you need to gap close and XYY is your quick version. Skills depend on the person but the safe bet is to start with the 3 damage skills OD surge, Reginleiv, and Decimate and then play around with the free slot or swap one of them out for another utility skill. Standard sigil builds as the rest of the cast, cascade shoots up in priority if you can fit it in and of his personal sigils Fearless spirit is maybe the only one you'd consider not including. As for Master styles, I only have experience with Crux Captain so I can't speak for the other two. My usual loadout takes clarity in the 4th slot and swaps in substitute in place of OD surge and with the normal sigil setup you can upkeep substitute for the whole fight. I also play mostly with the AI and despite their usual reputation the AI can fuel crux/substitute captain very well. The caveat here is the AI needs to have stout heart, so if you have a stout heart or enough stout heart sigils to pass around thats great. Otherwise the AI will avoid enough hits that you might be still at charisma 3-4 by the end of the fight. That said crux captain is a moron in the AI's hands do not give your AI crux captain he will underperform or worse hug the floor

I think the Yodarha on our team in my first clear of the final fight tricked me into thinking it was an easy fight. This shit is hard. I know I have the damage and the stun on my Charlotta, but I don't know about my teammates. It's hard to balance when to use the SBA, because lots of players want to use it on the boss instead of the adds, but they don't have enough damage or stun to kill the adds.
