This is only my second league in PoE 2. I never played PoE 1 before.Today I decided to try crafting again. This was only my second crafting attempt. The first time, I tried making gloves which also failed.This time, I wanted to make an Absent Amulet with Eternal Rage. I checked the market first, and the exact one I wanted was selling for around 300 divines. I figured I could save some currency by crafting it myself.I bought three +50 Spirit bases to fracture and hit it on the first try. Great start.Next goal: +3 to Melee Skills.After 450 chaos orbs, no luck.Switched to greater chaos orbs to improve my odds, but after 250 slams, I decided to cut my losses.Everything showed up except the one modifier I actually wanted. I even hit +3 to Spell Skills and +3 to Minion Skills(twice). Just never +3 to Melee Skills.In total, I spent around 300 divs on a failed craft.I could've just bought the amulet outright and saved myself hundreds of rolls, a couple of hours, and a whole lot of disappointment.I guess crafting just isn't for me.
I hope they shook up the Merc meta and Kineticist isn't the best by far again.
