Most of so called weird pend interactions is just usual ruling. Scales and Faceup ED are the only ones that actually matter for most players and is not even hard to learn.
Main issue is with pends is they encourage BM by design.Literally impossible to read all the text on the double text boxes of every D/D/D pend in their stupid lame ass flowchart combo without going into time. The result is you have to take your opponents word for it unless you play the deck yourself, so they can just lie about all their effects if they feel like it.
