>>574562945Run a high difficulty Encore, it has every champion flavor, both Cabal and Vex, wyverns and gatling cabals that will fuck you up so you can test your damage resist, big slow bosses to test out your damage and also fast and annoying bosses to test out your capabilities of dealing with a Tormentor trying to rape you. There's not a lot of special effects or timed stuff to get you moving forward meaning you don't have a way to easily feel like you're under pressure but the final room can get a bit hectic. There's also a platforming section if for some reason you're using something different than usual and you can farm a couple of cool red borders while you do it.

Seemed like they had a smart idea of adding actual mechanics and threats to strikes - whether through the "take cover not to die" shit in Warden of Nothing/Broodhold or the "pass the ball back and forth to nuke the shields" mechanic in The Corrupted - as a way to slowly ramp up player skill like in MMOs. Unfortunately they either got too fucking lazy or pussied out, and here we are. Ironically if they would've just made dungeons queueable from the start the average player would likely be five times better by now and it wouldn't even be a problem.

There's really no reason that dungeons shouldn't have matchmaking to begin with. Lower skilled players see that you need to join a fireteam and will immediately be turned off for fear of rejection. If players were actually accustomed to real mechanics they could've added more mechanics in fun ways and let players actually experience them instead of watching some cock fiend twitch streamer do them
