So I’ve been doing some math, and it turns out that BUI just doesn’t need crit rate with her cards slight exaggeration Because at A1R0 (very easy to have) every follow-up attack on a shocked target is 100% a crit if your navi isn’t bad. And 100% of your follow-up attacks should be on shocked targets The catch is of course that when it’s not a follow-up you’re down the 30 % from her A1, so the S1 may not crit. And in a 8 turn Miku rotation that’s a 0.75^4 = 31.6 % of getting all crits without any card boosts. Which isn’t amazing especially considering the randomness factor already present in getting non-HL nonS3 follow ups. Higher weapon ranks help fix that but don’t eliminate it completely. So there’s an incentive to switching to more Atk/crit mult/dam mult, but unless you want to gamble excessively there’s probably not a reason to remove crit rate entirely from your cards Mindscape core changes the situation a lot though - she gets big consistency improvements on her follow up chance and a decent crit rate boost, which might make you think it goes towards improving damage instead of crit rate, but that may not actually be the case - she also gets a passive that turns crit rate over 100% into crit mult at a 2:1 ratio, so increasing crit rate is actually just increasing crit mult but better. But you’d probably want to stack them via substats at that point

I'm nearing the end of the honeymoon phase at around level 60ish. I've observed that the training bonuses fall off at around level 70. What is the most efficient way for my characters to get stronger? Do I rush levels, weapons, cards, or something else?

I went on a break shortly after the twins came out, which I still got to A1. Saw migu in the steam announcements the other week and decided to check her and the state of the game out, which luckily for me overlapped with still most of the anniversary event. I'm glad that they implemented a bunch of qol features which speed up the repeating things in the game, since those were one of the biggest reason why I stopped. Missed a bunch of characters, but that's just how it is.I'm wondering now if it's worth to use two of the anniversary tickets and a cognition shard to get my Makoto up to A6, since she was already at 3 when I stopped. I saw that in a later patch they are including a system that really benefits her apparently, so it might be a good investment to have a chance at clearing some of the harder challenges. The "good" ticket has Kotone and Kira as options, which I am considering, but I fear they're going to be rather lackluster without weapon and proper set up, which I don't think I have.
