This has always perplexed me on why people can't just make straight up guides explaining on the interactions between popular units and why they happen. In general, all gaccha game guides are always so vague and general, that they are useless for anyone who cares about the content. Not sure if it's top players literally trying to gate keep. I got really deep and good at a few other games in the past but I felt like I had learn via my own trial and error, research into specific values and figure out everything on me own. It's quite frustrating really. Like for nikke pvp, the best you'll get online is just premade defenses and offenses. Seldom do i ever find content that explains each defense, their weaknesses and how to break them. Nowadays if you ask for help they'll just tell you to use the pvp RL calculator and reason it out on your own.

The Mustang problem is that there wasn't really a winning play. The replacement route is such a hacky and soapy nothing answer that doesn't really make the story better but actual redemption requires legwork that the writers clearly didn't want to put in. The problem is more of a fundamental one in that they set up this mystery way back when they didn't have a compelling spin on it ready.>characters like Crow and Indivilla never got one (for basically the same reasons as Oldstang), while Liveryn repeatedly got offered one and she ran away every time, until it was too late.Crow never got reexplored because she was poorly written and as such unpopular. Anis is treated very strange. To me Anis feels like she has a lot of villain/evil like qualities but instead of treating her like a morally gray character, they just try to gaslight the audience into believing she has heroic like qualities by having every character confirm them. Anis could have been a more interesting character if the story didn't have to try so hard to lie to it's audience. It would make me dislike Anis a lot less. The thing I hate about Anis is the most is that it feels like none of the characters in Nikke actually call out her flaws except for maybe yoyo, and instead hand waves her behavior as "understandable". It's the same frustration when there's a 'smart' character in an anime who constantly makes dumb decisions but is praised by every character in the series to be a prodigy genius. It makes Anis look "unintentionally sympathetic". It's actually one of my biggest pet peeves for readers/watchers to absorb the gas lighting like an NPC in the story universe and not see these flaws but instead believes the exposition over their own eyes, and it feels like a huge problem in anime/manga, maybe cause the audience is mostly children?
