Trying out Liandry's seems to work well. The build path is much better than Rocketbelt's now that it was nerfed. I was going to head into the typical Shadowflame then Bloodletter, but I was doing so well in lane I ended up deviating. It was a really fun game, but I need to play more with Liandry's before I can draw conclusions.

Rocketbelt's nerf was losing 10 AP, which isn't even noticeable. The biggest issue is having to sit on a Kindlegem instead of a Codex while in lane for the rush item. Honestly, it's not terrible for Aurora since she isn't likely to bully many out of lane besides some melees. Infact, in assassin matchup I personally consider it preferable because I just suck when faced with assassins.

That said, Liandry's, Stormsurge and even some Blackfire rushes are popping in different regions. But Rocketbelt is still the go too for anything high elo, the active is just too powerful and Aurora enjoys the health.

I was thinking about trying out jungling recently so I was doing a bit of research, and it made me think about how genuinely unintuitive this game is for something as basic as a mandatory role in LoL. People often forget or never even learn that roles were originally made up. Riot only transitioned to mandatory roles to make things like balancing and behavioral discipline consistent. There was a time when you didn't even need a jungler, and it wasn't that long ago. You've been able to run whatever you want bot and top for a while, and it's only now that meta slaves are catching on to it, since they just copy chall and pro bot laners who have spent their whole teen and young adult years mastering adcs and are finally coming to terms with their role's worthlessness. Not even their years of practice is saving them from the fact that mages mog their entire class

I've been trying, by just rage queueing. But I got a couple of loss mitigations, so Im back to 50LP. Since I haven't played since one of the resets, I have that little star thing my my loading icon. Something about my skill not catching up.

Maybe I'm just tripping, though. I remember some of my other climbs being like this, too. MMR got high, so they match me with teams that habitually feed. But when it evens out, the games get better for their rank.
