You can store a shitload of these for when you wanna actually run the mechanic itself. There's no loading zone from map>ocean>map like with Mirage.You then run these on their own to convert them into explored map fragments, which you then can use to make the bigger zone. It's basically Heist, but with Contracts and Blueprints rolled into a single loot drop.2, "backtracking" is all of less than 10 seconds unless you built zero movespeed, but you're a zoomtard, so that's falsified by virtue of this argument at all.3, the Allflame frags are collected simply by running through the area, you can run through, ignore the mobs and loot chests, and peace out if your build is tough enough.Gem of a mechanic so far, if a little messy.

I'm an Alva enjoyer with scarab and there's nothing wrong with picking the 4 node. Faster map time and higher chance to lock out bad room for the map makes up for le minmax of 3. Yeah you get slightly more scarab rolls with 3. The autism calculus ends up being a wash. If you just always use scarabs when you have corruption room ready (and gem if it's popular that league) you're going to be in the ballpark of an autist using 3 incursion maps busting out abacus to calculate whether to pop scarab with a level 1 corruption chamber and x/10 level 3s with y rooms left to squeeze out a couple more chaos.
