i just started trails of the sky, the remake.

I don't get how i'm meant to fight.

Do i just do real time? enemies take too long to kill, if i do turn based, enemies can kill me in two hits.

Also am i meant to fight each enemy?
I feel like it'll take ages.

I fought the rhino in the starting area and it took me three tries cause when i did turn based, it just hit too hard, i can't dodge or anything.

There is no NPC dialogue comparable to other Falcom games. You do encounter some of the other NPC students with some extra dialogue here and there but they're all fleshed out in their own bond stories anyway.
