There was even a toy with teary dripping eye make up that people thought could slightly relate to the experiment unit. Infold has gone through and removed many instances of repeating numbers throughout the game visually out of an abundance of caution because of the drama.Even the CN fandom thinks this is stupid and over the top.
They are stuck in the middle because they over reacted stating they won't release Valko and will not release any of the planed other MLs going forward in the future ever. Which is not what anyone wanted. They just wanted new content for the MLs that haven't gotten any in awhile. There are ongoing petitions to release Valko internationally and in China.
