Overall it's evidently a conservative religious town which would have a very normal understanding of their three naturally occuring sexes.To conclude, nonbinary Kris is unlikely to a point of impossibility. It has never been hinted at once (monsters who can't tell what he is politely using they/them simply doesn't count) and the evidence against is overwhelming. He must be a cis male or a cis female.
