Blaming the community for something that is directly a fault of the devs is insane to me. From what I was reading, most of the community here was in agreeance that nerfs were needed (maybe not to the crazy extent that they went), but the real problem was the manner/timing in which they were announced and the horrible compensation that was given. But to be honest, as long as the power level of seasons going forward match season 3, then everything will be fine. If not, then the devs are directly to blame.I am never going to expect all future patches to be perfect, but if there is a problem, it should be addressed in a timely manner and not when players have spent a ton of time farming decks. After reading the notes, they seem to fully understand this now and that is a great thing.I've also noticed that a lot of you don't actually read the patch notes, you just see what someone else has said and you immediately come to reddit to complain. The main problem of S3 was truthfully dream world and the cap is still there, but it is 20 now. Also, Orlea's nerf is still in place as well. Also dream world is already one of the restricted cards this season anyway.
Balancing is by extension extending the lifespan of every character. Old characters, as the power creep being constant, will eventually be useless because the can't deal enough damage, because bosses now have 3x more HP to compensate those op decks. This game feels great because we still can use our OG characters and complete endgame content with them.

If Season 5 favors bullet mechanics, then units like Luke and Renoa will become the new meta.Also, since all characters deal percentage-based damage, the only way SG can force power creep is by hard-countering specific mechanics—which is exactly what they already did. They shut down multi-hitters like Sereniel, Chiruzu, and Mei Lin just to push the discard meta, and they will likely keep doing this.
