Bought a new account and have 4 fun decks to play with: Lunalight, Radiant Typhoon, Kewl Tune, and Fairy Tail Magistus. Fuck knows how any of them work, though. I know I'm a shit duelist because even though Kewl Tune is apparently Tier 1 I can't figure out how it's a good deck in the slightest. Still, at least having 4 meta decks to learn and play with is nice.

They don't need to be explicitly traptrix traps like Traptrix Trap Hole Nightmare or Holeutea but like... man, too many hole traps suck. They either need free access to all normal traps like Lab or just WAY better hole traps.Weirdly enough I feel like the trap holes we already have COULD be better IF they could be activated immediately. But a lot of them need to be set and ready to be activated before the opponent does anything, meaning you have to go first. But it also means you don't know what the opponent even has, so you'll always choose the safer trap hols that will probably be relevant rather than the highly effective but niche as fuck counterplays. Banishing Trap Hole banishes a monster face down once its summoned, but only if it has 1500 or less ATK. Traptrix didn't play this even during Yubel or Snake Eyes era where they would summon low ATK monsters to kick off combos and relied on recursion. Because against most decks, Banishing Trap Hole will never be fucking relevant. Like, maybe if the deck relies heavily on normal summoning a motherfucker but usually it whiffs.
Magnets is a cool deck but in MD its just Nat beast slop :(

Just play Radiant Typhoon Zoodiac. It just works. I do find it similar to something like Fiendsmith Mitsu because if one part of the deck is stopped, you just go to another and if both can go off you are pretty much unstoppable.
