finally got to bossing after skilling for about a year and holy FUCK it feels so bad. Trying various early bosses with guides, tile markers, and plugins and combat still feels like a janky unplayable instant-loss mess. Is there a point where combat starts to click or is every boss just designed with innate autism in mind?

Nah just Zulrah/Hunlief/Jad and honestly overleveled for them likely. Finding that I'm constantly sitting like a chud with no prayer/wrong prayer despite consciously and clearly looking to make sure I'm clicking the right thing after so mamy mishaps. The range on Zulrah's venom clouds is also absolutely deranged without a clear visual indicator. Seems like I can stand clear out of the cloud and still get ticked out in seconds. I know the idea is to *get good* at these esoteric old style systems and menus, but holy fuck the jump in expected entry skill relative to game engine ability from Scurrius/wildy bosses/Chaos Elemental to this is just needlesly high

Each zammy brew is worth roughly 60~70hp doing redemption to get HP back when you're low.
Better than wines, saves inventory slots, lets you stay longer without having to bank or pool. Cheaper than anything else that does the same thing asides from the Barbarian variant which only has 2 doses.

Its more fun to do the redemption flicks and it's faster. And I gambled staff without scouting demi and didn't find dragon so I made all 3, new changes make this very easy without having to go out of my way to collect shards.
