Maybe this is my cope but i feel like this is why so many people are looking forward to classic+. WoW is split between retail and classic, but classic+ could be a potential 3rd game mode. The reality is that retail is a lost cause, it is permanently fucked and will never be fixed. The basic issues of retail are too deep at this point, stuff like flying, the cartoony graphics, the spammy combat with unlimited mana/resource, the faggy and furry races. This is all stuff they will never remove or go back on. I think even blizzard themselves have relegated retail and think of it as its own thing now.More people prefer the classic style of the game but are bored and tired of just replaying vanilla or the same expansions over and over. Classic+ is an opportunity to make a new progressive game mode that basically resets the clock without having to remove or change retail for the weirdos who actually like it.Idk if classic+ will be decent or not i'm just saying i think this is the basic premise.
