>>575299512My experience is from GFL and there hasn't really been that many changes, that game has no PVP though so there isn't really a need for balancing per se. Although in Trickcal PVP is mostly for bragging rights for those who care since the ranking rewards aren't anything much. The problem that tends to happen is before long older characters get powercrept to irrelevance which is very obvious with GFL, even as they did show some love to older Dolls they just couldn't compete with the new ones (SAT8 going from an essential tank to almost worthless for example). Also some map mechanics getting broken by new systems because they weren't designed with them in mind (Coalition units in GFL make 90% of the OG campaign missions a joke).

You're likely to get other 3 star unlocks before you get Rudd. You're not forever locked into whatever personality you build first, and you will be building a team for each personality long-term so you want to just unlock a lot of apostles. Also getting more apostles makes everyone you own stronger thanks to the way gold crayons work.I wouldn't worry about saving until after you've gotten most characters unlocked and have grown accustomed to the game and know which characters you like the most+are the best. The anniversary isn't going to have some limited edition thing you need to have hundreds of thousands of gems saved for or you're bricked. It'll have one new really powerful apostle that you'll be able to pull with the gems that they give you to celebrate for the anniversary. Some are saving to pull 6 dupes of that apostle to unlock their yearning but that's a big investment and she's not going to be the only powerful character in the game. And she'll have her banner rerun later so you can get it later if you decide to.If you get lucky and pull Rudd quickly try to get Daya too. She's one of the 3 plastic gatherers in the game which is important.

Personally I'd be surprised if they change Clone Factory at all with this in mind, if this is the reasoning for why it's there in the shop like I believe it is, since they can just sell whales the solution instead of fixing the actual problem for everyone.
