And mobas usually take at least around 200 hours each before they suddenly click with you. There are a lot of different macro and micro things happening all at the same time that the game would never even be able to tell you about, such as predicting where different types of enemies will try to farm or gank and when, what items they will get and at what point so that you can strategize around it, knowing their combos from heart so that you can instinctively act before they get you instead of just trying to react after the damage is already done, and so on. You would only know about it from losing to it several times. Just pick a hero you enjoy and try not to be toxic about all the others learning the game just like you.

In one of my first matches as a m1gger carry I faced victor and kelvin who were like 6k hp unkillable tanks they were so disruptive their other teammates could pick and choose the safest initiations then we lost on equal souls. What the fuck do you buy to kill these pieces of shit? I ran victor down mid and he still recovered like 3k+ hp with my anti-heal on him. Kelvin was doing nothing but floating in narnia and targeting me plus the other carry. If I started actually targeting either of them back that would be the only time the enemy dps and picks would come within range of me to dump abilities on me. I was 2nd DPS with my teammate as 1st both with 4:1 K/D I feel besides good coordination we played pretty well and never put our teams in a position where we couldn't defend. Which is why the game dragged we didn't feed.

>>575412573I guess i'll try to give some general advice:-know the role of your character and execute it properly (m1 carry must farm, duelists/assassins must punish those who wander, supports must counterbuy hard, etc.)-waves in deadlock are op, always look to push them as far as (safely) possible as often as possible to create opportunities for your team.-anywhere archon and below people undervalue sinners. if u prioritize them u can become thanos-any time you are doing literally anything that a dog could do (farming a wave, farming monsters, doing sinners) you should be looking at the map 90% of the time. the rest of the time you should be looking at it at least every few seconds.-do a headcount every time u look at the map and make plays accordingly-practice movement, easy key things are mantle gliding, zipline momentum conservation, walljumping, crouching and jumping out of dashes, etc.-know ur timers and play accordingly. use the tempo from pushing waves to take buffs, sinners, camps-this last one is kinda odd but hear me out: there is an imaginary line on the map where you are safe. this line is mostly dictated by towers, how far the zipline/waves are located, and where ur teammates are. if you can figure out where this line is, you can better figure out when plays are safe or risky (it's different for heroes with more or less mobility)all of this isn't exactly stellar advice but it can't get much better when you're giving out general advice

maturity is when you realize just wr% alone isnt enough to assess how good a hero is. its simply how well on average a player does on the hero. this is dependant on more than just player skill. its for example dependant on how easy the hero is to pilot. a far better way to analyze wr% would be to look at the distribution of winrates among players of some hero. currently theres no website which does this but theres one that comes close. https://statlocker.gg/heroes/mastery with this tab on statlocker you can basically see whats the true potential of a hero. its stratifies winrate change by matches played. going by eternus+ wr% of paradox which is 47.6% and adding the boost of 6.6% the hero lands at 54.2 wr% at the hands of a player that has mastered paradox. the page basically reveals how high the skill ceiling of a hero goes. notably m1 carries have the lowest skill ceilings according to data which goes pretty hand to hand with the community consensus>>575442029this and im not even e6

You can say the WR still increases but the degree to which it does is definitely not 6.6%. If you're factoring in smurfs then that also warps the data further and renders it even more meaningless. More popular characters to smurf on will always show less benefit from mastery. Hell, that might be why Infernus' WR actually does down slightly after 100 games. This is all compounded by the fact that the actual mastery chart for an Eternus player is probably much different than the general playerbase.
