The M14/41 with additional armour is actually semi-viable. Terrible compared to the Panzer III J, but that's also an unfair comparison because the III J is the best armed and second best armoured BR I tank. Having four machine guns in the M14 actually gives it very high burst. Even just firing the three "safe" ones is equivalent to 1800 RPM.

>>575422253Really, the best option is to play it without any snipers. Run 5 riflemen, use boosters and hero soldiers. If you feel confident, top tier has the highest potential for kills since you can run five guys with autorifles and farm that way. It's unfortunate that Sniper III is legitimately the only good Sniper troop.

Something weird. In some squad (Japan riflemen, 49th Infantry Regiment), I have 9/12 upgraded slots in Squad Upgrades, and 9/10 in Personnel Upgrades. I have fully upgraded Workshop Upgrades, which is 7/7. 9 + 9 + 7 = 25, but game says this squad is in level 22, and you can see in picrel it's the limit (22/22 Level). Bug?

In theory, this means that you don't have to take recoil reduction perks on soldiers using it, but there aren't any other perks worth taking anyway, unless you are really into melee attack damage.

Campaign with the most soul? It's Moscow for me and Stalingrad, I really like how the later has things such as posters, newspapers and toys all strewn around the maps. I also like how colorful the Pacific maps are even if actually playing them can be a pain

Slightly less vert, more horizontal, same damage, mag size, rate of fire, accuracy, and worse sights. I called it getting up-tiered because it crossed the threshold of acceptable power in BR I, and I was RIGHT. Being BR II disqualifies it from being competitive with the other Stens. Also, the Viper (which is kind of a Sten) is kinda weird. Great stats on paper but the sights are functionally unusable. Very fun gun to use but not meta because attempting to use it for anything but 1-20 meter hipfire is horrible. All we do now is wait for the Sten V.
