I have a crackpot theory the goal of 2026 is to make a meta Yugi-inspired deck like how they pushed Blue-Eyes last year. Only instead of a single archetype and a supplementary Primite engine, they're going to replicate Yugi's pile deck and have you staple together the best bits of multiple Yugi Used These archetypes. The fact this will a) get yugiboomers to pay out the ass all year long and b) let's them fill the deck with expensive overframes is a coincidence, I'm sure.Right now the deck revolves around ROLAD for the grind game and can make Dragoon/the new Dark Paladin ASAP if you open Dark Magical Curtain. The eventual DMG overframe will likely be the intended target, but currently you summon DMG and add overframe DM -> make DMOD and set Gaze -> make Dragoon and presto, you can ignore Droll. And unlike in actual DM decks, the ROLAD Archfiend can reset your banished Dragoon and DMG while your BMOC can reset your Curtain, so you can do this infinitely. Though you'll need a way to get Archfiend back into the GY.ROLAD has a good grind game but it has a problem where if the opponent gets your level 7+ monster or Mind Shuffle off the field you're wide open. Griffoh and Multiplying Kuriboh can delay death, but the new Gorz is a surprisingly good option since it gives you a level 7 body, pops two monsters, AND resets Mind Shuffle. Mind Mirror Force also helps with this problem and can also be reset by new Gorz.Another issue with ROLAD is that it has trouble breaking boards. You're intended to banish the shit out of everything/drop enemy ATK to 0 then run them over with BLS, but that's hard to get going into an established board. The new Dark Paladin helps a little with this (make it instead of Dragoon going second and you get a 3500+ beatstick that attacks everything, shuts off floating, and trades well into spells), but I expect this issue to be fixed by the Battle City deck they print to go along with the upcoming Ra deck.

The Silent deck was always considered a different deck, and I doubt they'd reboot Shining Sarc so soon. It seems more likely they print overframes of Silent Magician, Swordsman, and Gandora and make them usable in the deck if you want. Boy, aren't overframes convenient? I'd at least expect Silent Magician, though she's on Future Silence so if you're maxing out on ways to DMOD she's already in.Only thing after that is DSOD (they ARE buffing Cubics) and again there's not much here.
