I got into this game when I heard about the FFXI collab because I am an old man. I've almost made it to the end of my first clear of the water dungeon. Based on previous events am I screwed out of getting everything out of this collab or do they tend to make all the rewards and stuff available to newer accounts and maybe just make them run the event stages more or something? Are we expecting expecting some actual collab shit to be locked behind endgame challenges or just like summon currencies?

They do help a lot in abyss 4 due to the high-evade enemies (and Yrsa's beast killer passive will make that even more helpful)Her unique attack is kinda just there, it can help with making a very evasive target easier to hit for other characters at least, but you're really going to just want to be pressing scattershot 90% of the time. I forget traps even exist at all half of the time so I don't use them that often, but they can help with some bounties from what I remember. (And Yrsa's unique passive will let any character in front/behind her have beast killer too if you trap an enemy, which probably has some niche use cases.) Her discipline also gives her a fuck ton of extra SP iirc, though I haven't been able to give her any extra dupestldr, beast killer passive is her best unique trait, she'll probably get powercrept by other legendary rangers, but she's cute and does her job well.
