Are there any characters that have fallen for you, in regards to how much you enjoy them?Marian used to be one of my favorites, but I feel like her post Second Affection characterization is just kind of bad. She's very flat exposition girl with "I WANT TO SAVE THE RAPTURE #COEXIST" thrown on top, and it feels like the writers were aware of that so they also threw on a bunch of gags from the Pioneers without actually considering the context in which those gags existed (Snow White is a stoic autist so her being unexpectedly cute when she's hungry and having weird tastes is fun, Scarlet falls neatly into a sort of "fun/wise old drunk" archetype and even Rapu's sex pervert thing is pretty intentionally meant to juxtapose her "pure holy maiden" appearance) and as such none of the gags actually work with her existing character to make her more appealing. Now she's just a boring character that's also coincidentally a gluttonous drunk pervert.I'm not saying she needed to stay Babu, but I feel like current Marian just lacks any of the charm of her previous three incarnations period.
