SS Extended was kind of a letdown, with how hyped up it was online I was expecting a lot more. It's especially annoying how buggy it is and the story is really nothing interesting, basically the same as it already was but with a lot of added (and unnecessary) details that don't really make the story much more interesting, just better presentation I suppose. It's also annoying that it makes the Sword of Jyggalag unobtainable, literally removing content from the player, kind of the opposite of what I wanted from this mod.At least it slots in fairly well with vanilla, that's something.

Finally got to the treasure in the Island at the Edge of Nirn. As it turns out, I had left some crystal veins unmined at the end of the nordic ruin because I didn't want to take the time and then just forgot about them. The mod was kind of interesting in that it was this whole little archipelago with almost no combat, just puzzles, but the puzzles just weren't very interesting, and it mostly boiled down to a tedious scavenger hunt for the pieces to make the key to the final dungeon. There are also a lot of these summoning amulets (technically staves) you can find around the islands, but it always felt frustrating when I found a new location and the reward was one of those instead of the crystal pieces I needed.

damn vanilla trees have by far the best lod transition, it's crazy better than any modded tree I have tried. Even the transition from billboards looks relatively seamless. I think I'm just gonna use them now.

I have always thought that you could integrate food as a pseudo-survival mechanic by using foods to create an item like rations that are required for fast traveling. So basically like simon's journeyman mod except instead of the reagent being firewood and leather it's packed rations.
