The thing I don't like about Kim's response the most is that he's lying. Adding the 50/50 was never the main objective. The main objective was always removing the spark and replacing it with pity. The spark was too good, especially after the 100 elephs update, too versatile, it gave too much freedom of choice. The fucking pity isn't even shared between permament and limited banners. But of course, someone in that room must've gotten up and said: "we can't just replace sparks with pity, everyone will realize they're being kiked". And so in came the 50/50. The 50/50 was a distraction, a fake concession from the beginning, a secondary concern. It didn't work so they had to give you 40 (restricted, and we don't even know exactly how restricted yet) rolls on top of that. But make no mistake, what they wanted from the very beginning was to remove the spark.
