Every failure I have ever experienced with Sun Cleric left me puzzling over how I could have played that situation better, because the reality is that you almost always can play more efficiency. The actual kit is simple, but playing optimally when all those simple pieces come together is actually really hardSun Cleric heal spec is a good example. Okay so, you basically only have 4 heal spells. Quick cast heal, longcast super powerful heal, weak long cd group heal, and high mana cost medium bouncing heal. Speccing for it, you also get a medium strength instant cast heal on a fairly long CD. All of these tools by themselves are pretty awkward; Sun Cleric's heal spells by themselves is a purely reactive healer kit. Your Flash of Light is mana inefficient so if you rely exclusively on it you will go OOM; your Holy Light takes too long to cast so you are either preemptively using it all the time and killing your DPS or hard casting and risking people dying before you use it. Your group heal has a huge 25-30s cd and shuts down other crucial parts of your kit while it's on CD. Your bouncing heal has a huge mana cost and you absolutely go OOM if you have to rely on it too much. If you spec heal then you also get an instant cast medium strength heal, but it has a pretty significant cd

Makes me really not want to play the server anymore. A nerf to the class was surely reasonable given their performance but why did they dumpster the entire class? You also get way more glory/xp because you live way longer. Melee cleave is still pretty strong though imo, but it takes a lot of coordination. If you have another melee or two on the same target like everything you focus just dies instantly. I definitely have a higher win rate on my ranged classes though, I was 15-3 on chronomancer.

Is tempest charm good? It seems like it would be totally nuts, you get 2-3 procs of 270 damage on 4 targets. So that’s like 8-12 instances of 1080 aoe damage. If you use it on a minimum of 4 targets, you’ll deal at least 4320 damage. But a lot of dungeon pulls are massive, if you use the trinket on a pull of 12 enemies, that’s 13,000. 13,000 damage is probably 10-20 global cooldowns. It seems to be literally a 50%-80% dps increase. Well, the trinket is kinda expensive. I probably won’t buy it today. It’s also not very good against bosses, most of the meta content is single target fights, even in 5 mans.
