As a big Dantesfag, I liked OC2 but I don't see any good reason for the wall of humanity of Alaya to discard Avengers. Since after OC1 the world basically was updated instantly after we got to understanding about Alter Egos and solved the issue inside Paper Moon, I think the world could see that, in our case, Avengers tamed the fire within their souls for us, and doing more good deeds in general than bad.On the other hand, I suppose conceptually, the fact that they always harbor the fire in inside them, makes the world itself fear them because, as Dantes was saying, he wouldn't stop with just his enemies. He would go and burn Paris. Then France. Then the whole world until nothing left. At the same time, I don't think it's very humane to just cut ties with something like that and sending those humans to the edge of the world. Which makes Alaya, or the world, or that wall very questionable in its nature.All in all, it was a bad conclusion for their story. But overall chapter was good.
