>>575675914There is absolutely nothing worse than long term sleep struggles, me f1 has been there before.If you're on xanax already for it I imagine it's more anxiety related than sleep apnea or anything and are going through all the proper medical channels about it and following all the generic sleep health advice (exercise, productive day, diet, fixed schedule, no electronics, winding down hour before bed, bedroom well ventilated, fresh sheets and everything) so don't think there's any advice I can give but really hope things get better for you and make sure to try to at least get those 4 hours (multiple days without sleep will make you go crazy!)

>>575689161Might be the case, benzos and hypnotics as sleep aids aren't really meant to be taken long term for that reason, the only medication I see really given as a long term sleep aid is melatonin which is more for routine schedule than as a knock you out sleeping aid. Caffeine in the morning is fine but avoid any at all after 4-5pm for sure! Sadly anxiety related sleep issues are pretty much the worst if you can't interact with the cause of your anxiety/unease/trauma or even just have no idea what's causing it. Do your best to hang in there though, anon and hopefully life will get easier and time passing will ease your anxiety.
