It'll continue to exist, and you'll continue to live it, because it's actual life itself. Objects aren't people, be it in the form of a pack of cards or a darkner. Nothing changes.

People weren't actually calling for Knight nerfs en masse but people seem more agreeable that Pink should be adjusted because the difficulty is just lopsided.

It kinda bugs the shit out of me that shadow crystals don't actually influence Darkners in any way apparently? I guess we kinda knew since ch2 because Spamton's Crystal was in the NEO body, but it was just way cooler and more interesting and creepy to think obtaining them warped or expanded a Darkner's perspective. It especially feels a little egregious that the last two bosses straight up tell you "yeah lmao I just found this or whatever but I don't care about it" and hands it to you incidentally. Also it feels like a bit of a missed opportunity that the Flowery boss fight has the theme of "Flowery clinging to his dream" but he's not a shadow crystal owner. It would've been cool if he bucked a trend and became the first main boss to hold one and in doing so made sure to introduce the mechanic to players unavoidably.
