Starcaller sucks I need to reroll. I should’ve asked chatgpt, I guess I just assumed it would be a good raiding spec. But it’s shit at PvP and pve too, it’s not even fun to play. In fact they named its core ability after how you wish you could cast it. It has like a 15 second setup which relies on hitting RNG to get into a 2 button rhythm. Or you 1 button it and pray you hit the RNG needed, it’s about an 90% chance to maintain the rhythm but if you don’t hit the RNG you need to setup again and it takes actually like 15 seconds and your dps is like 1.5k in that rotation. You can barely even use moon arrow, it’s so fucking hard to moon arrow because you need to be paying extremely close attention to your aspect procs basically the theory is that you can indeed moonshot after your third starfire shot (assuming you get an aspect proc), because you’d need to huntress shot anyways to stack at least 1 scattered stars. But if you don’t moonshot this way it’s literally not even worth moonshotting, which is fucking stupid. Because you miss a starfire shot, and one starfire shot will do more damage that the debuff provides. Also its talents are stupid too you can’t take both single target and basic aoe talents, so you’re doing like 80% less aoe damage in dungeons. But it’s suppose to be a bossing spec anyways so that’s fine I guess, but it has unimpressive numbers im only getting like 4k single target.

Because, if you miss even a single starfire shot because your scattered stars fell off, you now have to cast starcall, or even worse if you missed TWO starfire shots you’re looking at a starcall, huntress shot AND a moon arrow just to get back into the rhythm. And yeah basically scattered stars are doing shit dps anyways, it’s all about barrage.
